Directions to
Rocky Hock Campground

From the South

  • From Edenton, NC take EXIT 227 off of US 17 Bypass

  • Follow NC 32 North for 6 miles

  • Turn LEFT onto Rocky Hock Road (beside Dollar General), go 1/2 mile​

  • Turn LEFT on Rocky Hock Creek Road, go 1/4 mile

  • Turn RIGHT onto Harris Landing Road, go 1.7 miles 

  • Take the 3rd RIGHT onto Tynch Town Road

  • Follow Tynch Town Road for 0.8 of a mile to David's Red Barn Lane and ROCKY HOCK CAMPGROUND on LEFT

From the North 

  • From the intersection of US 13/ HWY 32 South of Suffolk, VA travel 18 miles south on HWY 32 / Carolina Road to Sunbury, NC (stay straight through Sunbury)

  • Travel 16 miles on NC 32​

  • Turn RIGHT on Rocky Hock Road (just past GOODY's on left)

  • Follow Rocky Hock Road for 3.8 miles

  • Bear RIGHT onto River Road (just past The Country Store on Right) 

  • Stay on River Road 1.7 miles until you get to the stop sign

  • Turn LEFT onto Rocky Hock Landing Road, go 0.4 of a mile 

  • Take the first RIGHT onto Gum Pond Road. travel 0.8 of a mile to stop sign

  • Follow Tynch Town Road 1.0 miles to David's Red Barn Lane and ROCKY HOCK CAMPGROUND on the RIGHT
